NHS Speech and Language Therapy
ArtZone Co-op has worked with a number of Statutory organisations providing specialist health services. Our speech therapy materials have been developed with NHS professionals and tailored for specific cultural and language needs. Some of the materials provide information to assist parents teach children language between the ages of 0 - 6 years old - some materials explain development stages of speech and hearing and other materials guide parents in health issues which may affect speech or language learning. All products are playful and attractive to ensure that the message gets through and has a long shelf life.
NHS General Health issues
ArtZone Co-op has developed educational materials on a wide range of health issues. Through working with health professionals we have produced booklets, cards and leaflets explaining preventative care as well as guidance on health development. Themes include the correct use of dummies, cleanliness, mental illness and depression, anti-smoking campaign materials, exercise, healthy eating, healthy heart, incontinence, inoculations, how the ear works, glue ear...
SureStart Programmes
ArtZone Co-op supported the invaluable work carried out by the Sure Start initiative and worked closely with a number of Sure Start programmes. We produced a range of information materials for each aspect of SureStart work: from health and educational issues for children (0 - 6yrs old) to help and advice for young parents. We also produced banners, posters, annual reports, and other materials for outreach and social programmes as well as documentation of Sure Start events.
Community
ArtZone Co-op is a 'community' organisation working closely with local groups to help them provide the best information and outreach materials they can. We often work within tight budgets but never compromise their efforts. We have worked with women's groups, youth organisations, housing co-operatives, tenants associations, voluntary and charitable sector as well as community based statutory organisations: nurseries and schools, police, care services, play groups....
Translations
ArtZone Co-op produces many of our printed publications in different languages: We provide translation services for Middle Eastern, Asian, Chinese and European languages. We also work closely with other translation and interpreting services for voice overs, interviews, sub editing and dual language web services.
Met River Police S.A.F.E
Working with Thames Metropolitan River Police to raise Children's awareness on Safety around Water. Helping both the police develop on ways to present serious issues to young children, create a positive interface for the Police in a local multi cultural (multi-faith) community and assist the police to develop public presentation skills. This was achieved through developjng a 'prize' incentive for the participating children and production of a presentation instruction video for the police.
